Keeping you warm and dry in any conditions
Made from 100% natural Yorkshire wool and treated with proofing, the Arkose fleece follows the same principle as a sheeps fleece, channelling water along the fibres and off the fleece, so you stay warm and dry. Inspired by nature, this revolutionary new approach makes perfect sense, and is the natural alternative to synthetic petrochemical-based waterproofs.
Each fleece has a breathable cotton lining, so perspiration is drawn away from the skin, keeping your body at the optimum active temperature. And if you need a little extra air circulation, theres a number of handy pit zips for added comfort. Simply turn it inside out and its suitable for extreme temperatures.
Were confident your fleece can go the distance. Thats why every Arkose fleece has its own unique production number and is guaranteed for life, provided the re-proofing guidelines are followed.

Re-proofing guidelines
To ensure your Arkose fleece is kept in optimum condition and is always 100% waterproof, it should be re-proofed every 10-12 months, depending on frequency of use.
To do this, simply cold handwash it in the proofing agent of your choice. We recommend using Nikwax products, which can be ordered at www.nikwax.co.uk. Once treated, ensure your fleece is dried flat and iron on a medium heat, making sure that you always iron in the direction of the wool fibres.
Never dry clean your Arkose fleece.
We do offer a cleaning and re-proofing service, for a minimal charge. To find out more, just drop us a line on +44 (0) 1274 651444 or email enquiries@arkose.eu.
